There will be a maximum of eight (8) competitors in each discipline.
1. A maximum of 4 competitors will automatically earn 2025 invitations from the below tournaments:
· 2024 Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament
· 2024 Botas Pro Am
· 2024 California Pro Am
· 2025 Moomba Masters
2. Champions of each individual tournament will receive an invitation. Upon qualifying for an invitation, repeat champions will not block additional invitation positions. Therefore, if a tournament has a repeat champion, the next highest finisher, not already invited to the 2025 Masters, will earn the position.
3. The current World Record Holder as of March 15, 2025 will be invited, provided said World Record Holder has competed in one of the above mentioned four tournaments in the 2024 season. If the current World Record Holder won one of the above tournaments, the next highest finisher at the event the World Record Holder won will earn the position.
4. The remaining 2025 invitations will be determined by the Masters Qualifying Series (MQS). Upon qualifying for an invitation, an athlete may continue to compete in the Masters Qualifying Series events, but for score only, and not for placement for the purposes of Masters Qualification.
Athletes will qualify for invitation according to the following criteria, in the order listed below, until eight positions are filled.
1. Defending Open Men and Open Women Champions of the 2024 Masters in slalom, trick and jump.
o Men’s Slalom: Cole McCormick
o Women’s Slalom: Regina Jaquess
o Men’s Trick: Martin Labra
o Women’s Trick: Anna Hunter
o Men’s Jump: Joel Poland
o Women’s Jump: Hanna Straltsova
2. Defending Open Men and Open Women Champions of the 2024 Botaski Pro Am in slalom and trick.
o Men’s Slalom: Robert Hazelwood
o Women’s Slalom: Jaimee Bull
o Men’s Trick: Matias Gonzalez (*Martin Labra is a repeat winner so move down 1 position)
o Women’s Trick: Erika Lang
3. Defending Open Men and Open Women Champions of the 2024 California Waterski Pro Am in slalom and jump.
o Men’s Slalom: Nate Smith
o Women’s Slalom: Whitney McClintock Rini
o Men’s Jump: Freddy Krueger
o Women’s Jump: Lauren Morgan (*Hanna Straltsova is a repeat winner so move down 1 position)
4. 2025 Moomba Masters International Invitational Champions in Open Men and Open Women slalom, trick and jump. (Note: There will be no minimum benchmark scores required. Additionally, all invited champions to date do not count for placement purposes for Masters invitations).

MASTERS QUALIFIER #1: The top finishers from multi round Masters Qualifier #1 (number determined by the chart above) with the single highest score in Open Men and Open Women slalom, trick and jump held May 2 – 4, 2025 at Champions Lake, Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale, Florida.
MASTERS QUALIFIER #2: The top finishers from multi round Masters Qualifier #2 (number determined by the chart above) with the single highest score in Open Men and Open Women slalom, trick and jump held May 9 – 11, 2025 at Champions Lake, Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale, Florida.
**In order to be eligible to compete at a Masters Qualifying Series Event, open skiers must meet the following minimum scores achieved at a Class R or L tournament by February 1, 2025. New for 2025, the score achieved must be a 2 score average and not a single performance.
o Men’s Slalom: 3 @ 10.25 meters
o Women’s Slalom: 2 @ 10.75 meters
o Men’s Trick: 11,000 points
o Women’s Trick: 7,500 points
o Men’s Jump: 65.0 meters
o Women’s Jump: 47.5 meters
